 PROPHECY & PROMISES

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self- control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power” (II Tim. 3:1-5, ESV).

The “last days” began in Jesus’ time (Heb. 1:1-2). However, we are in the closing of the last days, which the book of Daniel describes as the “time of the end.” God reveals to Daniel how one may recognize the End Times:   “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase” (Dan. 12:4). Never before have people traveled to and fro as they do today. Some travel from the East

Coast to the West Coast just for work. Look at the city of New York and the amount of traffic on the streets, not to mention the number of people using the subways. Increased traffic is not only seen in the cities, but in some rural communities too. The town I grew up in never had a stoplight and had only a few police officers.

Today, there are several stoplights there, and the police force is well above 40 officers. As my great grandfather would say, “The world is on wheels." What about “knowledge increasing”? Just look at technology today; you cannot buy the newest computer or cell phone without it being outdated by the time you get it home. When you plug in your new computer, the first thing it prompts you to do is update it. Last year Apple introduced the i5 cell phone. This year, it's the i6s and i6p, which is equipped with fingerprint technology. The new cars can park themselves, adjust their own speeds, warn you of vehicles in your blind spots, and so very much more.

We are in the End Times! However, this is not a doom and gloom situation for those who know Jesus. For Christians, the End Times mean, "Thank God it's Friday!” On Fridays, we’re very busy completing our tasks in order to leave work and enjoy the weekend. The task for the Church is to win souls–that has always been  our assignment. It’s the Friday of the Church’s work week!!  “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature’” (Mark 16:15). As darkness grows over the world, a light shines out into it. That light is the believers of Christ Jesus, like Pastor Benjamin and Yeshua Adonai Bible. I congratulate them on their obedience to the Lord, commitment to the Word, and their love toward hurting people. May they have many years of continued signs and miracles and wonders until the coming of Jesus Christ.
